MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO COMPANY LAW OFFENCES
Arising from an investigation conducted by the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (“ODCE”), Mr. Kooi Yeap, 47, (also known as Keith Yeap) with an address at Main Street, Bray, Co. Wicklow, was arraigned before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on the 19 July 2021. He entered pleas of guilty to four counts of Providing False Information contrary to Section 876 of the Companies Act 2014.
All four charges arise following an investigation by the ODCE into the fraudulent use of Auditor Registration Number (“ARN”) details.
Mr. Yeap was remanded on continuing bail by Judge Martin Nolan to appear again before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 24 November 2021 for sentence.
